Glenmoore
Flooring Contractor
J.O. Flooring has been serving Glenmoore homeowners since 2013. Jon O'Neill brings third-generation craftsmanship to every job, handles the subfloor prep that older and larger homes demand, and stays on site until the work is done right.
Glenmoore's Flooring Contractor Since 2013
Glenmoore homeowners have been trusting J.O. Flooring with their homes since 2013. Jon O'Neill is a working owner, meaning you'll see him on your job site from start to finish, not just during the estimate.
Third-Generation Tradesman
Jon didn't learn flooring from a training program. His grandfather started in the trade, his uncles carried it, and his brother taught Jon. That lineage produces a standard that's hard to fake.
Working Owner on Every Job
When you hire J.O. Flooring, Jon is on your job site from start to finish. Not occasionally — every project. One person accountable for the outcome.
Follow-Up One Month Later
Jon follows up about a month after every completed project to make sure the floors are performing and nothing was missed. Most contractors are gone the moment the final payment clears.
Transparent Pricing
If your budget and your wish list don't line up, Jon tells you that upfront. He'll work through the options with you. No surprise invoices, no pressure.

"Jonathan was very responsive and reasonable. Was helpful from the beginning to the end for a carpet repair job. Will absolutely use again! We couldn't be happier with the work J.O. Flooring did in our home! They installed flooring in all 2.5 of our bathrooms, as well as our first-floor kitchen and living room, and the results are absolutely amazing."
The Rich History of Glenmoore
Glenmoore grew out of the agricultural settlements that Welsh and English Quaker families established in western Chester County in the late 1600s and early 1700s, farming the fertile land along the west branch of Brandywine Creek and its tributaries. The community took shape around Wallace Township, one of the original townships laid out in Chester County, and its rural character has remained largely intact through the centuries despite growth in the surrounding region.
Neighborhoods and Streets
Glenmoore is spread across a wide rural landscape, with no traditional downtown but a collection of distinct residential pockets and country roads that locals know well.
- Horseshoe Trail corridor A scenic stretch of country roads and large-lot properties running through the heart of Glenmoore's wooded terrain.
- Byers Road area A quiet residential stretch of upscale single-family homes and equestrian properties typical of the area.
- Trails at Marsh Creek A newer planned community of single-family homes near Marsh Creek State Park, popular with families seeking space and outdoor access.
- Waverley Road area A rural stretch of larger parcels and older farmhouses representing the historic character of Wallace Township.
Community and Lifestyle
Glenmoore sits within the Owen J. Roberts School District, which draws families who want a quieter, more rural upbringing for their children without sacrificing school quality. The proximity to Marsh Creek State Park gives residents access to hiking, boating, and open space that is rare this close to the Philadelphia suburbs, and the large lot sizes attract homeowners who value privacy and land over walkability.
Transportation and Accessibility
Glenmoore is one of the more rural communities in Chester County, but a few key roads make it more accessible than its country setting might suggest.
- Route 100 The primary north-south corridor connecting Glenmoore to Exton to the south and Phoenixville to the north.
- Route 401 (Conestoga Road) A country road running east toward Berwyn and the Main Line, giving residents a back-road connection to the broader suburbs.
- Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-76) Accessible via Route 100 south to the Downingtown interchange, roughly 20 minutes from the Glenmoore area.
